I don't understand the idea behind that show. I think it was a stupid marketing ploy. A tester Job? really... It's grinding work as I know it, and it's not a dream job. You won't get to play the games you love, you'll get to overplay games which you'll probably hate. I don't know how much a playstation tester earns, which I think should be made clear in the first episode. They only said they would give you a 5000 dollar starting bonus, but I wouldn't ridicule myself for 5k and close to minimum wage. I can imagine the current playstation testers laughing at the participants for how much hurtles they are going through to get a foot-soldier/pawn position.
They want to be in the gaming industry that much? Go to college and mayor in it. Intern in a gaming company if you don't have any idea's of your own, or go bold and find a few friends and make your own company with your own ideas.
