So, I've decided to start PS2 RPG binging inbetween Wii games. I started doing it years ago, but lately I've been VC RPG binging. And frankly, I've run out of VC RPGs that interest me. So here's the question. I have an HDTV with not so great upscailing abilities. (FFXII almost blinded me.) I know most PS2 games only support 480i, but if I use component cables would the picture at least be less blury than when I was using the A/V cables?

Also, what would your top PS2 RPGs be? I've played Final Fantasy X, X-2, XII, Tales of Lagendia and Abyss. I have a few I'm interested in. Such as Xenosaga, Persona, Ys, and Star Ocean. Any help would be super cool.

Your picture will improve a LOT with a component cable. even in 480i.

First either dragon quest 8 or suikoden 5, then either xenosaga or shadow hearts covenant ;). Have fun!

the component cable will change the resolution to 480p for most game. not a huge difference. what setup do you have with your wii? you should do the same as they run at the same resolution.

I recommend xenosaga, and starocean. ( for xenosaga episode II buy it used from gamestop, beat it and return it. ) Also dragon quest is great, along with dark cloud 2. I also recommond the kigdom heart series. one last game would be suikoden III.

If you get the cables and you ever get a ps3 they'll work with both in my oppinion if you have a HD and cables than youll get all the quality
