One thing I know a lot of PS3 owners who have this game and firmware 2.00. A lot of them don't have any problems with it. It is more like 2 on 10 persons who have problems with it.

This, and other lockup reports is why firmware 2.01 is being released, to solve this.

Great... Ubisoft didn't test the game before release, so now we get to hear more crap about cross platform games.

probably blown out of proportion, but sucks for those experiencing it none the less.

the 360 version has problems also. like the clone alter and walking through land. Its not just 1 version but them both of them the game freezing is also one of the many problems with the game. the 360 has doesn't have as bad frame rate problems.

grimygunz, those problems you listed on the 360 version stem directly from the programming of the game. The PS3 version's problems with locking up and freezing have more to do with the firmware than anything else. At least, that's what it looks like to me.

from what i hear some of the ps3 versions problems can be fix by turning off the pop up message in the top right corner. some people said it stops the freezing bug. Im not sure myself as my copy hasn't come in from gamefly just yet.
