Metacritic has never been a valid metric for measuring the quality of games!

I honestly dont understand why Meta only adds reviews for one version of a multiplat title...
For example, Edge review isnt on both pages...
For every multiplat, reviews are divided into two - for the 360 if the reviewer played the 360 version to review and the same for PS3.
Why can't they add the same review to both ?

Because the orange box on PS3 was really an 89 and not the 96 of the orange box version on x360. Separate reviews are necessary sometimes, but I agree in this case. Edge should review both.

Metacritic isn't flawed at all.

There's only flaws in how some people interpret what metacritic scores mean.

Rather than simply look at metacritic, which lists some truly bizarre sources sometimes, you should choose about five or so review sites that you normally agree with and judge from that.

VGChartz

Thats what PS3 gets for having FF13 exclusive in Japan... more reviewers which means more of a chance of lower score.

^ the orange box on the Xbox360 wasn't any better. Gamers were better of getting it for the PC.

*headdesk*
It's not flawed. It just takes a mean average from all the review scores.

CommonMan, adding them up and dividing by the number of scores is the mean. The median is listitng all of the values in order and then taking the centermost one (or the mean of the centermost two).

Hahaa! Whoops! Thanks Khuutra, Imma go stealth it before anyone else notices.
