I never played any Modern Warfare games (I'm not a FPS fan), but I must say I'm impressed by the numbers on both consoles. It's ridiculous the ammount of money they made.

May not agree with the critical score for the game. But I do applaud the awesome sales.

Since I can't remember off the top of my head, I'll estimate:

Now let's say there are 8 weapon classes, 40 different weapons, and about 5 attachments for each. Add in the fact that you have a Primary and Secondary weapon, and you have thousands of different possible class combinations.

But I guess it's easier to marginalize all the customization when most games are centered around 2-4 guns.

Congrats PS3, I guess you can sell software. I am disappointed its MW2 that got the honour also (yeah I own it though) since its not as good as CoD4.

I'd much rather Uncharted 2 or something better have gotten there. Well I bet GT5 will set some PS3 sales records. Maybe not for opening week but probably records for its "legs" and overall sales.
