My stats for the first year of my rtts player in 09 the show(Double A Portland Sea Dogs(Red Sox))

HR: 48                                      SO: 50

RBI: 180

R: 100

Doubles: 60

Triples: 3 (XD)

Hits: 270

SB: 35                                     CS: 30(I FAIL AT STEALING BASES MOST OF THE TIME)

Im in my second year with my rtts player(Triple A Pawtucket Red Sox).  There are about 5 games left in the month of april.  These are my stats now.(In my first year, i only hit 2 HR in my first month and half of May)

Avg:  .589

HR: 13

RBI: 45

R: 25

Doubles: 20(I barely have any singles anymore)

Triples: 1

SB: 0!!!                                         CS:  1(AND ITS BECAUSE IT WAS A HIT AND RUN.  I RAN, THE BATTER DIDNT HIT.  I GOT CAUGHT STEALING.)

Hits: 40

Lol srry i just felt like i needed to show off my stats.  No but seriously do they have that in 09?  I think so because none of my friends come close to my stats.  Except for one who hit 70 HR and had 200 RBI in his 3rd year.  But his average was like .400.  AND YES I know there is not a Roid Rage mode in it.  Still my stats are thru the roof and are worth bragging about.

 

LOL my stats are better than yours.  I have over 100 hrs, over 300 rbi, over 200 runs, and over 300 hits.

MLB 10 The Show is awesome. Hats off to Sony and the development team as the game gets better each year. Don't over look MLB2K10 either as that series has made a huge improvement and had 2K gotten rid of the click stick pitching I may have purchased both games this year. But 8.9 is good but I give the game a 9.5 a few bad animations and glitches bring it down but this is as close to real baseball as you can get without stepping on the field.

Lol ok but i know you didnt get those stats in your first year on legend difficulty.  And if you did then i admit your better than me.  Even if it isnt your first year those are some crazy stats there my friend.

I didn't buy MLB 09, but I did buy MLB 08 and loved it. My brother and I had tons of fun doing the Franchise Mode, each taking our respective teams and trying to build winners. Definitely will get this at some point.

I do miss MVP Baseball though
