Seeing as how Satan is referred to as the "Prince of this World" in the New Testament and makes many appearances in the Bible as such. It's only natural to have more experiences with him the one third of all Angels that follow him. Good angels such as Guardian Angels are said to watch over us as well in the Bible though they are less likely to be as intrusive and impose their will upon us so often go less noticed.

"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."

It's also to be noted that Angels are more likely to appear under the guise of the average person than a beautiful light or even go unseen though they are capable of all three as long as it's in one place at one time.

I see that you are a Jehovah Witness. I have to strongly disagree with what you say on Micheal being the same entity as Jesus. I've also heard that Gabriel is the Holy Spirit which is inaccurate as well. I say this meaning all respect.

That sounds crazy! I don't doubt you at all but its such a vast concept to grasp i would need evidence for myself i think. Similar to religon in my case i would like to add.

Really?  Those kind of stories are fairly common as far as I know.

Hell, my friend had a house like that... and he was an atheist.  Well I suppose agnotic... I'm not quite sure what he believed actually.  Just believed in ghosts but really didn't want to think farther then that because it distrubed him greatly... I think he wasn't sure if god existed or not, but if he did... god had it out for him.

His house used to be a civil war hospital... you'd always have those phantom steps even when nobody else was in the house at least once a day.  We just joked about it mostly.

One time after a big party I was helping him clean up in his basement... some people got downstairs by their bomb shelter so we went down picking up cans... I went in the bomb shelter, picked up the cans in there... walked out... then my friend asked me to close the bombshelter door because they always keep it close...

Bomb shelter door, i kid you not SLAMS itself shut reveleaing the picture they hung next to the shelter.  It wasn't anyone pulling a prank on me, cause there was nobody in the bomb shelter... I was just in there... so there was no like fishing line on the door knob or anything and there was nobody behind the door since I saw behind it... and I don't know what kind of hurricane force winds would be needed to close a bomb shelter door.  Let along SLAM it!

We stood their a second... I thanked the ghost which we'd named, though i forget the name now... and just went back upstairs.

Later on whn he moved to a smaller place he gave me the picture as a memento of the moment.

Ghost, Angel, Demon, Latent psychic power, very rare atmospheric occurence that cause a vacuum.... I don't have any clue what caused it... but it sure wasn't something science could currently explain.

I don't believe in Angels or Demons, though there was a strange incident that occured that I can't explain.

I also have a LOT more stories like that... though that one and house is the only one that i would say could be TOTALLY unexplainable.

Maybe Ohio is just on a "hells mouth" or home to some strange unknown phenomena.

Floating objects that levitate in front of you for a second then drop to the ground... shadowy or clear figures that appear then disappear out the corner of your eye. Or you see when you wake up but quickly disappear... all potentially explainable.

Dreams of the future that later turn out to be real... like dreaming about an event and it happens, or dreaming about a person then you run into them despite not seeing them for YEARS. No concrete explanation yet... but they have a few theories that could be plausible.

However, I actually had a dream like that which isn't explainable in currently mentioned terms since I actually knew the event was coming while it was happening and changed the outcome.

I live in the most haunted city in the world. I have heard numerous reports of ghosts and the like. Ive heard loads of stories but i have yet to see anything "mystical".

Go figure.  Most of those stories I generally call bullshit on... though I've yet to see an explination why I giant metal door would just slam by itself.  I mean it was a LOUD slam too.  Crazy shit.

I've seen a lot of "mystical" stuff like that... which i've mostly attributed to likely some kind of fluke of the eye or brain... only have 3 situations I'd consider "otherworldly."

The above,

Dreaming of a football play that would happen at recess... then seeing that exact play happening, i ran about 5 feet infront of where the ball was going to be thrown... and intercepted the ball infront of the guy they threw it too... without even moving from the spot i ran to... well before he threw the ball mind you.  (And left someone else completely open.)

Having a dream about my grandpa being very sick in the hospital and about to die... shortly before a phonecall woke me up, that was my grandma saying she called the EMTs and my grandpa was in the hospital.

Despite the personal experiences and documented encounters out there, I think that a lot of people don't want to believe such things exist because of the can of worms it opens.

Because once you accept that beings such as angels and demons do in fact exist, you have to wonder... Where do they come from? Why are they here? And if these beings are actually real, what else exists beyond the physical realm that science cannot answer for?

Have you been enslaved?

I dont believe them because human beings tend to see/hear what they want to see/hear, whether they think they want to see/hear it or not.

in the end theres probably a rational explenation, people just chose not to believe it for personal reasons, whether concious or sub-concious.

I will believe these things when I see them, as ive never seen or experienced anything in my entire life that even suggests that they do, nor have I seen ANY evidence of them or to even suggest them.

all these "stories" are incredibly convinient as NO-ONE, EVER takes a picture of video or documents some evidence of them, which leads me to believe that my original hypothesis (that its just humans wanting to see/hear these things) is the correct one.

not to mention there are all kinds of things that could make you see/hear things that arent there (drugs, alcohol, illness)

your entitled to believe what you want, but im just as entitled to think the way I do.

For the sake of arguement... who the hell is going to be taping or recording something that spontaniously happens.

For example, the above story of a massive metal door slamming on it's own... why would i be videotaping that?

If you can come up with a logical reason for a heavy metal door to shut, i'm all ears... cause i've on an off thought about it for about 7-10 years.

wind, a human, you imagined it?

all 3 are possibilities, or as I said, you just think those things dindt cause it or you wanted it to be unexplainable and so your brain finds a reason to reject them.

in that case, I accept you wouldnt video it or anything, but some of the things people describe (not neccesarily here) in this context suggest they had more than enough time to do so, also given the number of these stories people claim, its hard to believe NO-ONE ever had even a camera phone on hand they could have easily used to prove there story.
