Alan Wake, not Metro. Read what I am replying to, please?

Sorry, i just scanned through. My mistake. I figured the topic would be the game in the title. My mistake. Carry on then.

It is understandable. I don't approve of thsi off topic-ness either but certain people seem to follow and pounce on any Selnor thread which always leads to this stuff.... :/

Then read yourself and see that I corrected myself, as I thought this thread was about metro when all of a sudden it's about Alan Wake. Metro on the other hand has already gotten an 83.
Metro already got an 83? By whom, and it seems that a 83 isn't bad at all. Is the game an AAA title...nope, but it looks to be a good game with a tried and true gameplay style, but more importantly, it might have sequel potential.
Now that pisses me off. 83 used to mean an excellent solid game but now it has to be 92 at least and an exclusive.
Load of rubbish. 83 and multiplat is good enough for me as I like games for gameplay not superfluous boxes that need to be ticked before gameplay or the game itself is even looked at.
^^^ I'm sure most developers would be happy with an 83 and sales in the 2 million range, than 95 with sales of 800K.
