Forums - Sony Discussion - Am I the only one worried that Sony could do a huge mistake with the Arc ?

Your hand should be, in the middle of the 2 handle. The controller will be standing vertically. In your case its possible the d-pad wouldnt be accessible but the button would be, start/select and home button would be accessible whatever the hand use.

Yeah but they want try it, I'm sure some people in Sony are nervous too. On an unrelated note I don't see why they think Natal will fail when they made the EyeToy with the same concept and sold over 10 million units.

Two possible ways I found. Both are pretty comfy.

Simple fix.

I think I got what you mean but I am not a fan of such improvised solutions even though its atleast a better option in the worst case.

Well, well... I had in my mind: "If we have to use the DS3 as a nunchuck, it will be pretty lame. I have no faith in it."

But then i tried holding it like the second link (http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs482.ash1/26406_371610420394_641630394_5470805_1663663_n.jpg)

and it's pretty good! I wouldn't mind holding the DS3 at all!

im just going to say it

I LIKED THE ORIGINAL PS3 BANANA CONCEPT!!!!

runs away

I don't think Arc is going to make much difference for Sony either way. If it sells well, it'll probably be on the scale of the Eyetoy on PS2 (preportionately to PS3 base). If it doesn't... well... it'll quickly and quietly be forgotten about. Like Nintendo's Power Glove.

It certainly won't be a catastrophe. Nor even much of a missed oppurtunity.

Yes the second pic is also what icyedge described ? Its a decent way. And certainly a better option than what we have seen until now. But will the market accept this ?

That all depends on what Sony shows us at GDC.

Imagine a The Elder Scrolls game with the Arc? I'd totally waggle the shit out of the Adoring Fan.

no Nunchuck seems a bit iffy to me, not sure how people will react to that.
