March 8th from your local Gamestop or by signing up with Capcom Unity they'll send you one in the mail.

Oh... I suppose that's some US-only deal then? 'Cos there's no Gamestop in my country, and I have no idea what Capcom Unity is.

I was thinking the same... what about Europe? Since everyone else has had the demo it should come here also. But how?

Yeah, I'd really like a free demo too.

How come Americans usually get good stuff like this while Europe gets ignored.

You're still getting the game, so you're not getting that much ignored. Not getting the game at all, that would be unfair.

I know, but that we get the actual game doesn't change the fact that we apparently won't be getting the demo. Nor most of the other similar good stuff, while America does.

Ah well, at least they gave us Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland and shafted the US on that one.

It's still better than Europe has gotten in the past, since you've shown to be a big market for evergreen games.

Agreed. I remember back in the old days, oh man that sucked.

Still, we're not being treated equally.

Probably not. There are no Gamestop stores even close to where I live (Canada), and the only time I have ever even seen one in person was back over in Norway =/

Maybe if EBgames or Futureshop does something similar.

EB Games is the same company and run as the same stores, at least in America.

Yeah, EB and Gamestop are the same company here (ebgames.ca takes you to gamestop.ca).

We probably still won't get the demo disc up here because none of the special promotions in the US seem to make the journey north.

At least Nintendo is warming up to you faster than the gaming press is accepting the Wii. Neither is fair, but one is learning.

Heh, yeah good thing. I'm guessing we have Iwata to thank for that. The majority of the 'professional' gaming press will never learn.

People should beware, there's lots of reports of Gamestops telling people they need to preorder MH3 to get the FREE demo. This isn't true, and if it happens to you insist on speaking to a manager. If that doesn't work, tell them you want their district manager's number and then FOLLOW THROUGH and report the store/manager that tried to fuck you over.

The sooner Gamestop goes bankrupt, the better imo. I dunno why Capcom could've have done the demo disc at all retailers...

Interested in playing, but not the demo.

There's a GameStop a few blocks from here. If they have any demos I'll snatch one up and hunt some monsters.

I plan on picking up the demo when I go get Fragile Dreams. I'm not sure about MH3 so I glad they're putting out a demo of the game
