There were some rather surprising things in the video that I wish I didn't see. Can't unsee them anymore eh? Btw, don't read on if you don't want to read spoilers.

1.) First person beat the shit out of someone - I wonder who that poor unfortunate lad is? I'm guessing it's one of the minor gods since the dev said it happens in the beginning of the game.

2.) Removing Cronos' fingernail - I've always imagined that removing a fingernail is the most painful thing in the history of mankind.

3.) The 300 Spartans thing - You guys saw that? The array of shields and spears that fall on top of Kratos while the screen turns foggy and red and white.. I watched it three times just to be sure I wasn't dreaming.

4.) Hermes Boots - So I assume we're going to destroy Hermes and take his clothing.. It's pretty cool that Kratos can now zip and zoom like that.. Explains the original trailer with the Centaur.

5.) Hades' Weapon - It seems that you get to use Hades' hooks in the game as well. They seem to also steal souls or something.. The blue spirit stuff that flies around when Kratos uses them.

Amazing graphics. I couldn't believe my eyes. Sony Santa Monica is probably the best developer on this planet.

It's possible.. On the gametrailersTV episode, Geoff says that the game starts off with kratos beating the crap out of someone in first person. There's a good chance the leviathan boss fight is in the beginning since it takes place on Gaia (GOW2 ends with Kratos on Gaia, and GOW3 starts off exactly where it left off), but maybe it's Hermes since you get his boots...

I think that boss fight is Leviathan, since Poseidon summons it. I feel bad for him, his magic move was awesome in the first game. Also, Poseidon is probably weak when he's no near the ocean, it's like fighting aquaman on land. lolz

and how do we know that the guy who leaps off mt. olympus is him?
