Star Ocean 3 was a great game IMO. The voice acting is HORRIBLE though. I say go for it.

Awesome game but it takes a lot of time to create the weapons you need to do all the secret stuff.

I personally hate this game. I hate everything about it: story, dialogue, characters, enemy stun counterattacks, party member's AI are poor, confusing item creation, etc.

Get Devil Summoner 2 or Valkyrie Profile 2 instead.

But what about kingdom hearts 358/2?

Star Ocean 3 is one of my favorite games ever. Definitely a must buy. Get the Directors Cut if you can.

Oh, never knew that. Anyways the game is orgasmicly good imo.

SO4 has the better characters.

But S03 has the better battle system and story + plot twister.

Highly recommended if you need a JRPG with realtime battles. ^^
