Only if 360 popularity completely dies out as previously mentioned. As for NA, it's never going to happen.

I would say that if Microsoft doesn't drop the price this year. Then it will be this year worldwide.

But since I doubt Microsoft would go without doing the most basic thing to spur sales. I see it being 2011.

Because I doubt Sony will let Microsoft go unscathed this holiday.

They just keep releasing the same game(Halo,Gears and CoD Mappacks) over and over again and the people will buy it like hell
They dont need other games - Copy+Paste is enough

I love these threads. They never die, they merely hibernate. 3 1/2 years and running now.

My take (and this is the same take I've had since mid 2007) is that the PS3 will pass the 360 some time after MS releases their next console. Momentum will swing back and forth between the consoles one or two more times and they'll stay pretty much neck-and-neck, with the PS3 maybe closing a little ground overall.

right now, the difference between the two is 5.75 million... it was 6.5 million when the PS3 launched. Factor in a price cut and MS probably kicks that lead back up over 6 million, which means the two will have been close to holding steady since the PS3 entered the foray.
