Get this game, it is one of the best titles this generation. From RPG's i only enjoyed Dragon Age Origins more than Fallout 3, it has an amazing story , incredible side quests and huge world too explore, it has everything that you can ask from an RPG. And for me the game is much better then Oblivion.

It's a solid game and is worth a play-through. Once you play F3, DO NOT go back to Oblivion. It's aimless rubbish. Overall, not a terrible game but really, Oblivion is almost completely pointless. If you want to continue your WRPG experiences past that point, switch over to BioWare games.

Meh, I disagree with rocketpig. After playing Fallout 3, I'd say Oblivion is the better game.

Great game, but be warned:

I had major problems with the PS3 version and I took it back and got the 360 version and still had problems.

Some people never experienced a hick-up (my brother), and some people had their consoles burn to the ground. And between those two extremes is the buggiest game I have ever played in my life.

I am not sure what the Fallout3 forums look like now but when I was on them there were literally tens of thousands of outraged gamers who were severely pissed off at how bugged out the game is, 360 and PS3.

Of course all of our honest hard working critics at various sites overlooked these glaring flaws with the game and instead decided to blow smoke up Bethesda's ass.

Still, it is a very good game and yes you should give it a go. Just cross your fingers.

Strange...I experienced some glitches but no more than I expected.You are talking about some major problems here.Played the game 3 times and I wouldnt even consider it to be buggy.
