Oh yes, I love Fallout 3, it has lots of things to do and lots of places to visit.

yup those darn glowing mutant zombie's: and their obsession in eating Canned Spam.

IE: canned spam is the player when He's in power armor.

an worst thing is:

the glowing Mutant zombies do not  even give you flower's or anything

it's not like the  glowing mutant zombies want to wait ,

an ASK how your day was ,

they just want to open up the can and eat.

No, I hated it. Most over rated game of 2008. I can't warn you enough about the game

What's wrong about it?

Great game! hours of fun... This is the game is awesome. It's missions are Unique! Very unique and leaving you feeling like you really have done something amazing. Also many creepy and disturbing missions as well. The story line is Great too...

Yes and get oblivion when your done.

also if you want to get a taste of the feel of the background of the fallout universe, pick up the PC game pack of :

Fallout :1
fallout :2
fallout :tactic's

It's three game's for $20,00 or less and it does not even take a very powerful PC to run them a Pentium 3 is more than enough.

buy it. and if you can run it get the PC version because in addition to all the expansions you can buy there is also thousands of user generated content you can download that expands the game in a way expansions cannot and its generally free...all the ps3 and 360 versions give are trophies and achievements...meh

The correct question is what is right with it.

  • Boring enviroments
  • Lackluster story
  • Glitchy
  • a lot of glitches
  • Even more glitches

I have played a lot of shooters and a lot of RPGs. This game does not do either of those genres well.

I remember one level when I entered the Super Duper Mart. I got this glitch out of nowhere where my gun would only shoot when I was exiting th menu O.o.

I mean I would enter VATS mode and then I would go slow motion for ~5 minutes while this guy was running at me with a pipe, and my shotgun wouldn't do anything(andI couldn't even exit VATS!!!). This happened for about ten lives . Every time I would respawn my gun would go off and it would alert the enemies to my presence. >.<

I would only buy it for less than $20

While I agree that it's not a good shooter, it's a great RPG. Also, while the story is not that great, it has a lot of background to keep your interest.

And you just have bad luck dsister, I got over 100 hours of it on PC, and only experienced some random crashes that where fixed with a patch :P

If you have played and enjoyed Oblivion than Fallout 3 is a no-brainier purchase! If you have not played Oblivion I would buy both Oblivion and Fallout 3, they should give you over 100 hours of entertainment from each game!
