So a buddy of mine recently bought an xbox 360. He (like myself) is waiting for BF:Bad company 2 but is curious about netflix. Ive never really looked into it but he was wondering about the price. We know its free for the first moth and 10 dollars starting price but whats the normal price? Another thing is how well does it work? Ive read a few things saying it was ok while other said it was slow at buffering.

Anyone one here who has netflix care to comment?

It's $8.99 every month. (Unlimited Movie Streaming + 1 DvD a Month) for up to 10 Xbox360's in one home, and they can be watched on diffrent systems and PC, PS3, at the same time. So if people arein a diffrent room and want to watch a diffrent movie they can.

It works great, HD is great as well.

It depends on your connection, if your connection is real slow, expect buffing to be slow, I never had a problem with buffering, you see your scenes as you rewind or fast forward.

My connection to Netflix is always good. Never has to rebuffer or go down in quality. I have a two disc plan which is like $15 or something. Not sure what the base line one is.

8.99 a month isnt bad at all..i thought the price would go up after a month or two. 15 isnt bad either for unlimited and 2 dvd's. Thank you guys! I havnt heard alot of people talking about the netflix feature for the 360 so i wasnt sure if it was worth it or not.

Oh, and if you want blu rays that is an extra dollar a month I think. I don't know what I get billed since it is automatically debitted and I don't actively look for it in my bank statements :)

Myself and two of my friends use netflix over xbox live all the time. I've not heard nor had any problems streaming, synching, or loading up any content. Very very happy customers. :)

Netflix is amazing for me! The HD streaming is wonderful and now that I have a second 360 I will be using it in my bedroom too!

My plan is like $16-17 a month for Unlimited streaming + 2 DVDs at a time with the Blu-Ray option. They updated Netflix a while ago to do the more active buffering changes like the Zune marketplace does. If your connection slows the video will auto adjust resolutions without pausing and then when the connection speeds up again the resolution will adjust again. Buffering on rewind/fastforward is very quick as well.

The biggest part about streaming is your network connection. I enjoy watching alot of the series that Netflix offers, but I had to switch my internet service level to get the quality where I wanted it.

Yeah, so long as you have at least 3mbps download speed DSL, or any high quality cable/fios connection you will be able to stream HD just fine

I use it on PS3 and as long as you have a good connection your movies will come in very well. Though they don't look as good as they would on the disc.
