So lemme get this straight:

Abaddon and Azrael conspire to bring about the apocalypse early because they fear that hell is becoming too powerful and they cannot afford to wait any longer. They devise a sneak attack on the leaders of hell and Abaddon says that it will be over very quickly. They break 6 of the seals, while preserving the last, so that the four horsemen could not be sent by the Charred Council and interrupt the endwar.

During the battle, War is summoned and starts to wreak havoc on the armies of heaven and hell, but eventually falls because his powers were greatly reduced, since the seventh seal was not broken and the other 3 horsemen have not joined the battle. The Charred Council apparently summoned War to battle, accused him of attacking without being called, and then used War's desire for vengeance to kill everyone while at the same time not getting their hands dirty.

Abaddon falls in battle (question 1, why did the plan fail?) and a strange female voice asks him if he wants to rule in hell or serve in heaven (question 2: who is this female voice?). Abaddon chooses to rule in hell and thereby becomes the Destroyer, and defeats the armies of heaven and so the earth is destroyed.

War returns to earth, seeking those responsible for the conspiracy. Along the way, Samael and Ulthane help him on his quest, leading him to Azrael, who finally reveals the cause of the conspiracy. Azrael then takes him to Eden, and there War is given a vision of the future and the past, the truth about the events that have transpired so far. After that, he successfully reforges the Armageddon Blade, the only weapon that can defeat the Destroyer.

War kills Abaddon and the seventh seal is broken, giving War all of his dormant power back. He is asked if he will fight against everyone by himself (question 3: who is everyone?), and he answers that he won't be alone. In the background, the 3 other horsemen are awakened, due to the breaking of the final seal.

What an awesome story. Bloody hell, I loved every minute of it! (Did I get everything right?)
