Here in Canada people are crazy about the olympics.  Everyone but me.  People come up and theyre like 'oh so and so won the silver!' and I'm like 'uhhhhhh ok'.  I'm a sports fan, just not any of these sports (yes not even hockey).  Throw some snow wrestling or snow boxing in, or indoor basketball or something, and I may care.  As is . . . blah.

Am I crazy?  Or are the olympics crap like I thought?

Its the best of the best trying to beat each other that is one of the many reasons people like it. Some of these people have worked all of their life to just be in them let alone shoot for the medals. I am not much of a sports fan of any sport but I do watch some of the games.

I've watched some curling... interested in the Russia vs Canada game and may watch it if it's on when i'm watching TV.. if it's not already on...

Found it mildly amusing that the one time Canada showed some bravado at "owning the podium" they underperformed.



Largely though, I don't care... so many of the events seem... pointless and it's always the same few countries expected to win all the events.

The only part I watch is if someone stacks in badly in downhill skiing. For the LOLs.
