DICE awards now on IFC.com, check out the Jay Mohr monologue here

If you missed the live stream of the 13th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards (i.e., the DICE awards), and don't want to wait for the "broadcast premiere" this Friday, the whole thing is available now in chunks on IFC.com. The first two clips cover Jay Mohr's (Gary Unmarried, Action, Go, Mr. Nikki Cox) 40-minute monologue, while the rest is the awards ceremony -- and, well, the "Indiana Jones sequel" Mohr wanted swept those.

The reason we decided to drop the Mohr monologue after the break was because we're guessing there will be "edits" for TV, including some inside jokes about Richard Garriott and Bobby Kotick (in particular, the 6:45 mark during the second clip). We're not sure if the general television audience will "get it," but we trust that you all will.

yes i saw the first video. and what 40 minute opening? the whole time he was talking about stuff that happened and then goes into the people who came to the show including the ladies, didn't find it funny.

the awards and video games became too mainstream that not so popular games don't get any chance of winning any award despite being great.

you'd see games that star popular people have alot of awards even though they are mediocre games like Brutal Legend . seriously if that game didn't have jack black it might win the worst voice acting and worse scenario.

id say nintendo game is pretty popular. i mean, NSMBW is a pretty damm popular game but i dont think it was there.  To me its gamang moving towards a more movie like western direction where the emphais is on production values. correct me i fim wrong but there was award for the platform genre, is it because platformers arnt epic enough?

Thank you Sega for posting this, I am a big Jay Mohr Fan from his short lived show Action. He's really funny.
