Well this game wants to be a movie and ends up in being an ambitious mixture. It's neither very good as a pure game (clunky controls, quick time events) nor is it as serious movie. And the developers have to accept the comparison with both.
As I said before, it is quite an accomplishment and a unique one for sure. But that doesn't make automatically a GOTY. That's what most of the core gamers aren't able to understand.
This review is much more reasonable than the one from gametrailers, for example.
I mean they are mentioning the odds in controls but gave the game an 8.9 in gameplay. That's absurd and makes me wonder, if the reviewer of teletext or the ones of the big gaming sites are blinded...
