Forums - Microsoft - HDD data transfer question

A guy I know from work gave me a 120GB HDD for my 360 and I used xplorer360 to delete his data(about 45-50Gb) and copy mine from my 20GB(about 7-8GB). All went well and I fired up my 360 to find profiles and everything intact, but my drive is reporting only 49.5GB free.

Do I need to do anything other than copy data over or does the drive need to be formated first?

Around the Network

Start the Xbox

My Xbox>System Settings>Memory>Select storage device

That should show you what is on the hard drive. And how you should have deleted it in the first place >.<

Edit: It seems that none of his stuff has been deleted. That's what you get for using a cheap 3rd party product >.<

It's an official MS HDD from his dead elite.

Or do you mean the software?
