Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Anybody else thinking about getting Metro 2033 instead of BF BC2 this March

I really haven't heard too much about the game. I also saw that it is supposed to come out relatively soon. If the reviews are really good, then I might give it a go. Otherwise not a chance. I still have a lot of games to play. BC2 is not for me. I bought ModernW2 an was thoroughly disappointed with the online. The single player is great, minus the fact that you can beat it in one night. I enjoy single player games the most. I am loving Mass Effect 2. If 2033 has a great single player, I'm in.

So you're forcing yourself to play games you don't like? That seems completely counter productive. You're supposed to be getting enjoyment out of playing video games, not playing it like it was some chore.

And I'm not done with this hole non sense if you're going to spout falsities about a game that you haven't learned how to play properly, and blaming EA for something that's not their fault.

Earning Achievements/Trophies is productive. SP in games isnt fun anyways. I play games for Achievements/Trophies.

I have no idea what the hell you are talking about. The only thing i blamed on EA/DICE is the shitty servers in BF43. 

The video is self explanitory. You're simply running around chaoticly, with no strategy, nor even tactics. You're just looking for things to shoot and kill, that's it. You're probably the same people that will blow up abandoned enemy tanks with your robotic mentality. The video just SCREAMS CoD player.

 

As for the blue, that's EXACTLY what I'm reffering to, and it's not just. Saying that EA has a huge server problem that affects every single player (as it should, if the server were at fault, since everyone connects to it) is a huge lie.

If you were right, then every single person should have the same problem (if the server were at fault). Unfortunately, that's not the case. If the cause is tied to each individual's unique situation, the common cause is probably simply having bad connection.

Finally, if you're playing games for simply trophies/achievements and not for the sake of playing a game, then you're not a fan of video games and don't belong here.

 

And I find it sad that you'll spend $60 to get a small and brief enjoyment of a virtual achievement or trophy. It'll be much cheaper, faster, enjoable, and much more rewarding to get real trophies or achievements if those are the only things you're looking for in video games.

That's sorta the point of me giving a 30 minute video, as that means that there's no way I can cherry pick 5 of my best minutes. You're the one who's being illogical thinking an uncut 30 minute video is somehow more advantageous than a 5 minute video.

You're defending, but you're simply just running around in circles, instead of reinforcing areas that needed to be reinforced the most. I cringe when you ignore the game telling you a charge was set on B, to join 2 other people chasing after one man going in a house. Then you somehow believe that standing in a roofless atic was a good idea.

I also hate it when defenders like you move up to attack the attackers, as that actually creates a lot more holes in defenses than if you stayed back and closer to the crates.
