If I had to guess, they are going to try and market the iPad as an education device, so they are cleaning up the app store in preparation.

The thing has a web browser on it, so why the hell would you need a porn app anyway?

Yeah, they're being a little puritanical about it, much like TV regulators. Too bad for people who like naughty apps, but it doesn't really affect me, since my naughty app is called Safari, and I don't think Apple's about to ban it from the iPhone.

Here's hoping that our society eventually matures to the point where we're less afraid of boobies than we are of guns.
