I think that halo Reach will outsell mw2 and halo 3 easily! But i really wished that gears 3 is the best selling game on the platform :p

Halo Reach should do it easily. Halo 3 has sold 10 million+ copies and was released to a user base of 18 million. Halo reach will be released to a userbase of about 38 million. You do the math.

Expect just first day sales of Reach to eclipse 5million+ and lifetime to hit about 14 million.

Currently stands as:
Call of Duty 4: 8.16 million
Modern Warfare 2: 9.62 million
Halo 3: 10.83 million
Gears of War: 6.03 million
Gears of War 2: 5.58 million

Games in a series usually sell in similar numbers or grow rapidly as the fanbase grows. Seing as Gears 2 cant outsell Gears 1, Geras 3 wont come close. Although MW2 outstripped Cod4 easily its probably peaked so I doubt MW3 will outsell it. Halo 3, the current leader, came out at around the same time as Cod 4 when the Xbox 360 userbase was much smaller (around 11 million), so seeing how MW2 sold compared to Cod4, its likely Reach will do the same thing with Halo 3

woot! but what if they compleyely change gears 3 with good online and more epic singleplayer? I dont know whay people look down upon this game because its in third person

If they improve multiplayer then maybe, but still it wont over take Halo 3, be lucky to overtake Gears 1. I didnt play gears 1 but I hate Gears 2 multiplayer, especially the shotgun and that there is not Deathmatch variant
