I think it's gonna sell between 120 and 150k in its first month, and possibly 800 k lifetime... Sad, because I think it's gonna be one hell of a game...

well according to EA, whenever they have an interesting idea for a game nintendo is supposedly open to cooperation, as long as it doesn't compete with one of their titles. so apparently nintendo has been offering help from the beginning, nobody just ever takes it, except for now with MH3 and the dragon quest series

It still surprises me that Soriku can't see the obvious answers even though he has more than 30k posts already. Red Steel 2 is the sequel to a game that let pretty much everyone down. The sequel to a game that sold on its potential and for being a launch game. Seriously, this game would have better chances to sell well if it wasn't called "Red Steel 2". But either way, this is no Monster Hunter Tri material. If it were really good, then Ubisoft wouldn't have lowered their sales expectations for it. It's not hard to see why Nintendo won't advertise this game. |
What's the point of Nintendo having these games on their consoles knowing they won't advertise them. I think with just some decent tv ads of Red Steel shown on tv twice a week or so, this game woul probably sell around 90k first week.
