Konami is a bigger name than MGS in japan.

I don't even know what that means.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

MGS = Microsoft Game Studio.

I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...

- Wasteland - The Mission.

And MGS is too close to MSG.

Theres a plus side to lending an IP to other developers yet still own the rights to the game but there is also a bad one...

So whatever developer could make a complete garbage of a game thus destroying that IP's appeal!!!

Hopefully Konami does a good job

Konami is not involved in development. They are a publisher (so they're involved in marketing, distribution, funding, that sort of thing). Q Entertainment and Feel+ are involved in development. The only change from N3 development wise would be swapping Phantagram (or whatever it's called) with Feel+, which is pretty much an upgrade.
