The premium accounts thing is going to be great, that is if you want sony to expand its offerings, bring out some cool new things.

Right now, the PSN is probably losing $$$$$$ or gaining a small amount, b/c it offers all of its online stuff for free, except the DLC stuff.

If Sony can fill up this hole, it would be a lot more willing to ADD more stuff to the PSN in terms of content. We could be seeing the PSN being better and having more content by mid 2011 when MS concentrates on natal like the un-strategic company that they are....

Pretty sure that sony has it's servers run by third party. 

MS just doesn't have its strategy down, that's their only weakness. I remember when their big thing was winning Japan through its RPGs, and now it's natal, or will be soon. Rather than doing one thing after another, why not spend some more time planning and get it right the first time? I honestly hope that MS has done this with natal so that they won't just give it a minimum of attention within a few years like I think that they will do.......

Also, with the third party issue with the PSN, they still have to pay somebody some serious $$$$ to keep the whole thing going, so whether they have a third party running it or not is irrelevant, they just can't be making hardly any money if at all on the PSN.

Ok? So, no, i'm not being a f-boy i'm criticizing both and making an effort at doing so.

well im not an employee with microsoft so I don't know their strategy. Seems more to me that they are so big that they can just create another division to create something new like natal if they want.

I think the PSN should have free cross game chat like we do in XBL land. I wish i had a PS3 for some of the exclusives but i'm too poor for 2 consoles so oh well.
