EA games have decided to drop the online support for more of their online games. Much like they did not so long ago with some of their 07/08 game, EA will be closing the servers making it impossible for you to play them online. Although the games are old, this does come as a blow to many players as they will no longer be able to gain the online achievements.

The following games will be affected…

• Def Jam ICON – PS3 and Xbox 360
• The Godfather – PS3 and Xbox 360
• The Simpsons Game – PS3 and Xbox 360
• The Lord of the Rings: Conquest – PC, PS3 and Xbox 360
• Mercenaries 2 – PC
• NFS ProStreet – PSP
• NFS Carbon – PSP

All will be closed on March 16th 2010.

Will you be giving them a big send off with your friends or will you just let them die as they are? Remember you’ve only got a month to enjoy those last few online moments and gain whatever achievements you can!

PS-Not like i could play BF43 anyways. Also its not like the game has a SP or something else to do. What a waste of $16.25...

I don't game online myself but this really sucks for those that does, and the games aren't that old.

If me and everyone else could log on, then the issue is specific to you, your service, or area. Not with EA and its servers.

And of course you can't play BF, from what I saw of your gameplay anyway.

omg people I just made some research and it appears that the PS3 and PC version of Conquest has Dedicated Servers!!!!!!!

Well i hate to tell you that its not just me that cant even join a game in BF43, Also i still get black lines in it.  I can play any other game fine with no lag, MAG, Bad company 2, Resistance 2.  

And i hate to tell you that im probably high ranking than you in BF43, if you even have it.Its there shitty servers that wont let me play.

Oh yeah more proof that its EA shitty servers, check out L4D2 first month. It was a lag fest and it took EA a while to clean it up.

Rank means shit, since it only means you've invested more time into the game. And from the gameplay video you posted of BC2, I'll be really suprised if you can suddenly hit people at point blank range just by switching to 43.
