I voted for Sony with the casuals. The casual gamers on the Wii will see it as a Wii with better graphics so I think that will pull a lot of people over. Also, many current Wii owners may have owned a PS2 so they will be more comfortable making the purchase.

I'll have to go with Nintendo on this one. Motion Controls did not sell the Wii. The software did. Thus far no third party has been able to replicate Nintendo's success on the Wii. Now they are expected to be successful on the other systems. They make have a few hits but they will be few and far between and will not reach the level of what Nintendo has already created.

Secondly, Nintendo is not only targeting casuals. They are also targeting the core with their software and third party software like Call of Duty and others. Sony and Microsoft on the other hand are actually just going after the casuals. That will be hard to do. The casual market is not fickle like the core market. For example, put Final Fantasy on a different console and fans of the series will buy that console. The casual audience is stubborn.

Microsoft with the Casuals. Looks like a lot of developers are interested in working with the technology. It'll probably be pretty even between all three though.

Seems like an easy enough question. Nintendo is the best developer in the world, no one else even comes close. Like every other aspect of this generation, Nintendo will continue to embarrass Sony and Microsoft.

I think sony and MS could make a splash in the casual market. Nintendo with the hardcore?... No. They haven't released a hardcore game 2 years.
