Activision will do it on PS2/Wii

Call of Duty : Legos at War.

I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...

- Wasteland - The Mission.

FPS is oversaturated and will decline. I think what will happen is what is already happening. People will stick to the cream of the crop - CoD, Halo, Half-life, etc. and more and more ignore the others.

Music games offered little variety and frankly GH/Rockband were the most expensive flash games ever made. Besides, once you own one, you can just continue to download new songs, there's simply no reason to buy newer editions. But I think people have just gotten bored with them.

FPS offer much more variety and will decline slower, but as all things they'll go out of style only to return later on with a fresh coat of paint.

Fps won't decline. People love them because it's the easiest genere to play. It's the most popular genere because of it's quick pick up and play mentality. There short and sweet and to the point. I will never get tired of FPS and I've been playing them for yrs.

Lol, there's also these possible titles:

Call of duty: Lego Warfare

Lego of Honour

Half-Lego

Lego 4 Dead

hmmm, I quite fancy playing a Lego FPS now!

FPS will never go away but I don't think they'll continue to be as many FPS coming out as their have been in the last few years.   Fighters, platformers, adventure titles are all pick up and play but have all declined from their former glory days.     But it's like fashion or music, things are in vogue for a few years, decline and then come back into style later with a new twist.

that's a good way to put it.

Music games were kind of an unheard of fad, where as fps's have been around since gaming began... it's not going anywhere.

Thank you to whomever mentioned the stupidity of the health regeneration. What ever happened to 3 hits you die, or health bars.
I don't like to play FPS's with auto health regen. It cheapens the game. Get shot 50 times, hide behind a wall, then come out like RAMBO!

no... That's like saying platformers, RPG's and racing games will. Those types of games can differentiate and have different layouts and such. With music games, if you get 1 copy of rock band or guitar hero, you've pretty much seen it all.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.
