George Stobbart. I dont think many people know him here,He was the main character in the Broken Sword series.He was travelling around the world searching for answers to ancient riddles,had a sexy and intelligent french girlfriend and saved the world a couple of times. I consider him to be the ancesotr of characters such as Nathan Drake :)
