I have to agree with all of these points especially points 2, 3 and 4. I miss having as good a STAB move on my Dusknoir as Dusclops did last gen. :( Also stealth rocks does indeed need to be nerfed. Some pokémon like Charizard are near unuseable because of it.

Also, there needs to be something done about the pokémon that are already outclassed considerably. This gen 52% of all evolved forms are in the NU tier alone (seconded by the UU tier). I think it's a shame that such a huge amount of the pokémon aren't truely tourney-viable. Sadly, some of these pokes have good potential but are ruined by a rather demanding metagame.

I specially agree with the HMs parts. Their mechanics, their forced use are probably the part that I disliked the most from pokémon... along with the thousands of Zubats and Geodudes in caves >_>

So pretty much you want the same game again with tweaks? I suppose a real upgrade is too much to ask for.

I think one way around the HM problem might be to make HMs viable moves in line with Surf

Like, nobody likes having to use Strength, but what if HM02 or whatever was actually Body Slam?

How about giving Pokemon two movesets? Like the 2nd moveset will stricly be moves useable outside of battle but a Pokemon can only use its 1st moveset in battle.
The number of moves in the 2nd moveset will depend on the Pokemon. (like Bidoof can have 4 while a Legendary has 1)
