The thing I love most about this is what they never said in the story, but probably happened.
You know she pulled this out of the back of the closet and said, "Look at this junk. I should throw this away. No, I will thow it on ebay and see if I can get anything for it."
And then "JACKPOT!!!"

I read about this on yahoo.com and I was shocked. I'm about to go buy and old video game console and sell it on ebay.

Thank god she listed it on Ebay, instead of marking it for $10 at a garage sale, or donating it to Goodwill. She would have no idea what it was really worth.

That's awesome, good for her. It's nuts that someone paid that much for it though. Nuts. Ah well, to each his own. The free market gets to decide what it's worth, and I always enjoy the free market in action. Capitalism is awesome.
