Forums - General Discussion - The game is over

After you beat a game, what do you do with it. Do you keep it and replay the game over and over? Do you trade it in towards a new game? Do you do both things? I keep fps games for the online multiplayer. Most other games I just beat the game and trade it in.

beat and trade usually... keep a few.

that was a quick post. I just created this thread seconds ago. lol

I tend to keep my games and beat them several times over the course of owning them. I don't really like trading in. What if I want to play again later, eh?

Pretty much this actually.

If a game has no online multiplayer, then there really is no reason to play it again. I like putting the game on the easiest level and flying through the single player campaign. Infamous was the only game that I played through more than once.

I don't think you enjoy single player games as much as I do. Or, at least, you don't like replaying them as much, nor do you enjoy replaying them in different ways as much.

maybe you should try some Nintendo games. Most of them are worth beating a second time, or 6th in the case of NSMBWii Heck, even going back to StarFox 64, I can't count the number of times I beat that (on both difficulty levels)

Anyways, I'm a keep and play again kind of person. Some games I've only played through once but plan to revisit most of them later, but most games I've already beaten at least twice.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn - 717 hours and 17 minutes. Pure singleplayer game.

How many of your online multiplayer games got that much playtime?

Also, why is this in Off Topic?

oddly enough, I think I can outdo that with Advance Wars: Dual Strike. I've beaten the game enough times to get everyone maxed out (including the hidden characters)

I never trade games in, I keep everything in case I feel the need to revisit it.

i don't remember ever selling a game i didn't actively dislike.

i just hoard them all. maybe i should have a clear-out? D:
