My ps3 Slim heats up rather quickly...is this normal(Turned it on around 10AM its 4:30PM now)

Did it shut down or something or just hot to touch on outside of case?

Is it in an open area or enclosed space?

Well its designed for a balance of noise, heat and reliability. The fans don't spin up as quickly to ensure you get a better experience with your machine in terms of noise at the sacrafice of some reliability and greater heat.

Well It never fails me its just how and the air in the back can get out so i guess its open spaced

Thanks I thought my ps3 was broken or something because It does make noises too and it heats up but I guess its normal

well u did have it on for over 4 hours it should be real warm
