Okay I recently bought a gaming laptop and I want to play Oblivion with it. I have been attempting to use the console commands while running the game by hitting the tilde key but it is not working.

Now, at the link it instructs me to goregedit and open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\i8042prt\Parameters and make some changes but I am a total Noob and have no idea how to get there or wtf regedit is.

I am running Windows 7 and would really appreciate the help. Thank You!

Type regedit into the start menu box.

windows key + r

type regedit, hit enter

And then search for the key and change it
