For me MGS 4 > Mario Galaxy and last very last ME 2

ugh, this is going to turn into a (insert game) is better than Mario Galaxy thread.

Apparently the "worst console" has arguably the highest rated game this gen....how ironic.

Can't believe so many people without a Wii have opinions about SMG.

Games are subjective, and too me Mario galaxy doesn't deserve to mentioned on that list, there are way better games that could of taken it's spot, but it felt Like IGN needed to at least have 1 Nintendo game in the top 10, well that's what it feels like.

Others will disagree, which is fine because as I've mentioned games are subjective, but I can't help but wonder what type of fanboy influence the IGN staff had since as of late they've been inciting rage across the board.

In any case we all are entitled to our opinion and this is mine among others, so take my 2 cents as you like.

... because of their unbelievable cynicism and critique of the Wii, casual gamers and the failure of that console to offer what they get from the 360 and PS3.

When they started publicly voicing their preference for Modern Warfare 360 DURING Nintendo podcasts it was basically over.

That's an awful list IMO, doesn't even have one single MGS game... THIS IZ MADNESS!
But it's kind of understandable: IGN just didn't want to chose an exclusive game of the current generation (360/PS3/Wii) and put it on the top 3 because that would generate too much controversy, for example: if they chose Killzone 2, 360 fanboys would be like "OMFG WEHRS HALOZ", if they chose Gears of War 1, PS3 fanboys would rage all over the website and make a petition to replace it for Uncharted 2. [I'm aware that U2 is on the top10, but I got make fun of ps3 fanboys as well :P]

And what websites like IGN should stop doing when they decide to make tops like this, is giving a numeral position to games. I wouldn't mind seeing Half-Life on a list of the best games of this decade, but saying that's the best game of the last ten years makes me lol

P.S Not even one hack 'n' slash, racing, fighting game in that list?

this is all bs. no matter what galaxy is still my favorite game and many others. to me games are about having fun and galaxy provided just that. some people here son simplemente unos artistas
