Sony's playstation is all about innovation and releasing risky, original, new IP's and it's paying off. with a track record of releasing top qaulity games it's a no brainer why Sony's playstation 3 is picking up the paste. it's a completely different world in the playstation universe. From massive online multiplayer experience to mind blowing engaging adventures and rpg games
MAG was a success for a new IP, selling 300,000-units its first week and getting great reviews from top sites.
Heavy Rain a game that was sooo risky with a destiny to fail by most also got great reviews and recently climb to the top of the best seller list.

Now here's the BIG, ASTRONOMICAL, HUGE, NEWS that distends all over the world!!!
Crysis 2 will take full advantage of the ps3's power!!!
"Yes, it’s a PC franchise. But when it’s widely regarded as one of the greatest shooters to ever grace the big gray box, it matters. But that’s not the only reason I put Crysis 2 on the cover. A few months back, an old friend at EA snuck in to PTOM towers and showed me top-secret footage of the game in action. It was stunning – better looking than almost anything I’ve ever seen on PS3. and here’s the best part: All the glorious wreckage, the metropolitan carnage, the dynamic lighting and the realtime destruction, was generated not on a PC, nor an Xbox, but PS3."
he went on to say:
"Yep this baby is being built to take advantage of the massive power the PS3 offers – which is nothing to scoff at, considering Crytek’s original Crysis was almost unplayable on anything but the highest-end PCs when it was released. Five minutes after my pal left, I began the push to be the first magazine to reveal Crysis 2’s true glory. And here we are."

So there you have it crysis 2 for the ps3 might compete against the best high-end pcs out there. now my question is, by what he said, would crysis 2 be able to run on the 360? or will MS get the inferior version? But... here's something else that runs around my mind as i read this... will Ms push for their whack "console equality"?
Im loving that more developers are pushing to take advantage of the ps3 power and blu-ray space and will finally put an end to "console eqality" and finally let the ps3 blu-ray beat DVD games like they did HD-DVD movies.
Seems it's going to be a great year for the Playstation 3.
P.S people are dismissing 3-D but i know there's a market for 3-D it might even bring people who arent interesting in consoles which can thrive up ps3 sales (being that sony is the main supporter for 3-D an the ps3 will be the cheapest blu-ray 3-D player)
