I just got inside Lamb's hideout, just dealt with Alex in the big tube. How close am I to beating the game? Is this the last chapter, or is there still a couple to go? Thanks.

Yeah your pretty close I think. But you should still have a solid 1-2 hours left. What did you think of the game? I really enjoyed it. it's my game of the year so far.

Cool. I guess I'll save the end for tomorrow. My wife will be getting off work soon and we've got stuff to do.

So far I'm really enjoying it. Mechanically it's waaay tighter and smarter than the first, alot of improvements have been made to the combat. I do think Ken levine added a definite degree of artistic direction to the first one that is lacking in this one though. Rapture isn't exploding with personality and doesn't feel alive like in the first one. It feels largely like a bunch of greenish corridors punctuated by a big open room that is still kind of dark and greenish. In the first one, rapture felt like a real place that was lived in, in this one it just feels like level design to accentuate the greatly improved combat.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's my game of the year, but I am definitely enjoying it thoroughly. It's an assload of fun. I think I'll mess around with the multiplayer for a bit until my wife gets home, and then beat it tomorrow.

I thought it was as good as the first, the ending was much better imo - left it wide open for Bioshock 3 :)

Anyone else that beat if though find the last part extremely hard?  I never got below 4 first aid packs for the last 5 hours or so of the game, that last battle though I died twice lol

Sucks that my daughter harvested me - lol but I guess that's what you get when you harvest the little sisters :)
