yes. 

 

Out of the review that Mario posted I only disagree with two of them. inFamous should have gotten a higher score and Killzone 2 should get a lower score :-/

Heedstone, I would argue that leaving out Halo Wars (meta 82 / Edge 7) and Blue Dragon (meta 79 / edge 6) makes your argument look like you stacked it to show bias. Halo Wars outsold most games on your PS3 list.

However, if you break it out by catagory. I can agree that in regards to shooters there does appear to be irregularity in Edge scores.

Not necessarily. Just because they like 360 games better doesn't mean they are biased towards it. They are not in the least giving unreasonable scores to PS3 games.

So what console shooters were better than Halo 3 when it was released? What console shooters were better than RFOM and Killzone when they released? That explains the FPS variance.

Valkria and Heavy Rain are somewhat niche, you would expect some low/higher reviews for those games.

Uncharted had some weaknesses in gameplay which the 2nd fixed, are they exactly wrong there?

Ratchet and Clank are onto their 7th, 8th and 9th installments IIRC, maybe they feel the series has gone stale? You wouldn't expect Mario Party 9 to get high reviews either.

MGS4 went an artsy fartsy route. Not everyone enjoyed the extensive use of cutscenes. If I was reviewing the game I would rate it down for them.

It is the reviewer's opinion. If all the reviewers gave the same score what would be the point?

So it's around 10 points difference in AVERAGE between a PS3 exclusive and a PC/360 console exclusive, which is huge and mathematically (statistically) impossible unless they're 360 biased or being 360 fanboys.

The other explanation would be they favor the shooter / FPS genre dominating on 360 (6 on 11 games reviewed), but then again, games like Resistance, Resistance 2, Killzone 2 wouldn't have been rated so much under their Meta then, so this explanation is wrong.

Conclusion : Edge is strongly 360 biased.

 

Why don't you try adding some of the 360 exclusives that Edge absolutely massacred?

Blue Dragon - 79 Metacritic - 60 Edge : -19
Lost Odyssey - 78 Metacritic - 70 Edge : -8
Star Ocean - 72 Metacritic - 50 Edge : -22
Halo Wars - 82 Metacritic - 70 Edge : -12
Perfect Dark - 82 Metacritic - 70 Edge: -12
Banjo Kazooie - 79 Metacritic - 70 Edge : -9

The point is that if you look across genres instead of playing the bias card against a platform, you will see that Edge doesn't like certain GENRES OF GAMES no matter what platform they are on.
