Yup, here's some more:

MGS4  8 - I can see why, i've played through multiple times, and skipping the cutscences leaves very little "game" to play. I'd give a 9.

Resistance 2  6 - I didn't get into this game, and it was overhyped for me since i didn't play the original. I'd give it a 7.5

Killzone 2  7 - I've never talked about this game on VGChartz for this reason...i hate the controls, otherwise, love it. I'd give it a 9

Valkyria Chr.  7 - From what i've seen in video form, it looks to deserve this score, but i'd give it a 6 for it's slow pacing, and fugly graphics.

Heavy Rain  7 - I've only played the demo, but i don't like the controls much, in any case, i have high hopes, and love it so far. I'd give it a 9.

Flower  7 - I haven't played it, but it looks beautiful, and creative. Only judging from what i've seen i'd give it a 8.

Infamous 7 - I didn't care for this game at all, I didn't like the idea of his only power being lightning, even with the different uses. I'd give it a 7

MAG 6 - OoOoOoO God knows i hate this game. The controls, and gameplay design are my major gripe (health system, melee, etc). I'd give a 5

Isn't Heavy Rain something creative/diferent/special?  Certainly more so than Bayonetta anyway!

I don't know, there were a lot of surprises in Bayonetta I was certainly not expecting. Especially some of the levels, people who have played it know what I'm talking about (highway and missile levels)

That's pretty laughable if you ask me.

Looks like they have something against a certain genre.

The original Mass Effect and Fallout 3 got a seven as well. Edge is not a fan of rpgs in general. The game play style is not fast enough for them.

How can you give games you don't care for, couldn't get into, didn't like the controls in, or haven't played more than 15 minutes of such high marks?  Can't people just not offer opinions on scores for titles they haven't played?  I've read bits and pieces on Avatar - I've seen the trailer, but I've yet to watch the film.  Wouldn't it be a little ridiculous for me to try summing the movie up in a mark out of ten?

Again Edge are awful , even when they give a good score e.g Uncharted 2 they still chat crap about it by mentioning COD , I mean wtf.

Hmm. . . I agree with a lot of the scores that Edge gives. But then again, who cares about scores? The written review is where it's at, did it say something like "Were this on the 360, we would have loved it, but as it is. . ."?



No one in the world ever gets what they want, and that is beautiful.
