There is no difference between extreme capitalism and capitalism. You either are, or your aren't.
It's like pregnant, or extreme pregnant.
I prefer a capitalist system with lightweight regulation and minor oversight to prevent dangerous practices; and I would avoid any practices to make the system more "Fair" because government intervention has an uncanny habit of achieving the complete opposite of what it sets out to do.
I probably a mixture, I can't personally say where I stand as it'd take too much writing to fully explain.
Tease.
Capitalism. Capitalism. Capitalism.
Some thoughts:
"You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. You Cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The Government cannot give to anybody anything that the Government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half get's the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is surely the end of any nation's future."
mixed...there are times when government needs to step in. The problem is that it's hard to give that power back to the people.
Where's the social democracy button? or the democratic socialism button?
Eh, The best system is any one that can adapt to the changes in the world. Unfortunately people are often way too concerned about the ideology behind a policy than whether or not it works or helps people.
Fuck systems, they're bad news.
I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!
Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.
The best economic system?
Pure capitalism... nothing boosts economies better. Of course there is more to look at then just which system is the best economic system.
Definitely a mix. Pure capitalism is probably just as bad as pure communism.
A mixed market is always the best system. Practices from both ideologies mixed together for the best possible result. The elements of capitalism are necessary for strong economic growth, but the elements of socialism are necessary for economic stability. The extreme of either side has pretty much never worked.
