IMO that's a good thing, don't fix what aint broken eh.

Im just a little bored of the current formula. Im not so arrogant as to suggest they change it when so many other people obviously enjoy it. I'll just sit back and wait. If they make changes for the better (for me) great, if not then great also, I'll play something else.

Yeah I understand you man,  guess where I havn't played Pokemon since Crystal the formula isn't old for me.

I can agree to that, don't try to fix what's not broken. And It's clearly not broken to Nintendo because it continues to sell millions.

Same here, that's why I gave up on Pokémon. I'm not touching that franchise again with a 10 ft pole until they make some dramatic changes.

That's just me though.

How so? Without resorting to the nostalgia defense, why was Gen2 better than Gen3 and Gen4 when the games have only improved over time?

Maybe because it had 16 gyms and 2 regions? Or maybe because the Gen2 Pokemon didn't look like crap?!
