I beat the game a few days ago. The last boss was a bit of a hastle. Definately a very good RPG. Not an all-time favorite, but with the lack of good JRPGs this gen, you need to own it. ^^

Meracle can be awesome - if you abuse her as a cheap copy of Mister Bison. :P
she helped much @ the Gabriel Celeste Battle, because she was attacking him without taking too much damage.

1v1: Best Character is DEFINETLY Reimi, you CANT hit her if you can concentrate on 1 Enemy. xD
Xv3+: Bacchus!.. srsly, .. BLACK HOLE SPHERE! EXECUTION! BLACK HOLE SPHERE! EXECUTION!!.. Enemy Group is dead. xD Bacchus is exactly what he looks like... a machine... of Defense and Wide-Range Attacks.

but i think for the most Battle's, Edge and Arumat are the best ones, because they are very flexible, and they can do different things, depending of the type of Enemy your fighting.

At the end, every Character has his strength's and Weaknesses, the only two i didnt liked when it came to combat, where Faize and Myuria.

dood you are crazy =P put stun and critical and max it to 10/10 on meracle and it's simply ridiculous and more raw damage than arumat becuse she hits like a machine gun, arumat has a better blindside though, that is a prime reason to use him if anything. with my setup, you can never die, it's like the prime healing group with high damage hehehehehehehe. think about it, you get 2 cure status, 3 healers and 3 main damage dealers and full buffs with stun lock that procs very often due to attacking speed. Meracle also never dies in my hands due to the setup, pure pwnage and I gots skillz. should be interesting once I get to the hardest diff too, I'm on 3rd atm.

ps: you don't need symbolic weapon on arumat.... he has convert....

if you just strictly compare edge to arumat, edge can pretty much go eat shit lol, arumat is way better, just no support skills.

lol i dunno, i'll give her a try sooner or later since im hunting some gabreials, i might let Sarah back into my party because yeah she is a great character for healing an' buffs an' stuff later on... but that would mean bachhi would have to go! hes AoE!

For now though its Edge + Arumat + Bachcsus(SP?) + Meracle for me.

When does Meracle starting getting strong? her normal attacks are weird an' unbalanced comapred to the others, its very fiddley, so i assume shes a skill spamming character for that. what lvl does the skills get good?

@seraphic: dunno' exactly, this Mister-Bison Skill is somewhere between 50-80 i think.
(cant look for the name, a friend has my Copy atm, but i think you'll know which one i mean by using.. :P)

once meracle gets claws of fury, it's good game if you know how to use it correctly, the key is to max out stun and crit on her. The bison skill is drill spike, I don't like it as much as the one edge has since it goes through enemies instead of pushing enemies (I use edge to get enemies off casters since you can push them even if they are in rush mode) but I still use it all the time to close the gap since that skill is pretty much the answer to a lot of people's hit box problem and actually useful if meracle is on AI, human controlled meracle is simply amazing though.

But... But... dahuman... what about Arumat?!

arumat is good, he just doesn't fit into my setup as well because he's less utility and raw offensive, I go for both utility and damage in my team setups so I value meracle more.

I finaly got it.

This game is the 2nd best JRPG this gen. Plays like Tales of Symphonia.
