that's cuz it IS dota...just name changed and stuff like that....this should have been DOTA 2...but for legal issues...they can't...

That's what I was saying before.  HoN was said to be a remake of DOTA, while LoL is more of an evolution of DOTA.  The designer or  LoL said that he felt restricted by the Warcraft 3 engine when making DOTA, so HoN probably mimiks those limitations when they designed their remake.

@ Tallgnome: I'll have to remember to add you when I get online tonight, I keep forgetting.

@ Johnsobas:  In DOTA, The tactic I used was I chose the Paladin who had the bash ability.  That gave me a certain chance to stun my opponents.  That, with high attack speed, meant I could keep an opponent stunned indefinately.  I'm sure I didn't own every opponent I came across with it, but I remember it was extremely effective.  In a group fight, I could just target the highest DPS enemy and take him out of the fight.

BTW I beta'd LoL and even preordered it but it's bad. I had hope once but the failure launch and the market is retarded. Sorry but the developers are not really good. (Yes I was in the beta test.)

Because they are similar and a good competition is healthy? Why not show other people similar games that potentially is better?

Cause its called starting another thread...... how hard is it to do that to advertise with thread for its own game without going to another thread its almost called being a troll. 

 

Also don't say its potentially better. Right now each game has its own pros and cons and are targeted towards different people so in different cases each game is better in some form than the other.
