This year marks my 25th year of political awareness.

Long story short: Late 1984. My first real job. Minimum wage, 35 hrs a week. I worked my ass off there for around four months and I knew what to expect EVERY two weeks. 1985 rolls around. The first paycheck for that year was $20 lighter. I complained to my boss and was told that it was because of another phase of Reagan's tax reform.  Tax cuts for the top two percent at the expense of the people who actually contribute to the economy.  WAIT!!  ISN'T THAT A REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH !?!!  (OOH, CLASS WARFARE, WAAAHHHH!!!!!!!)

From that moment I knew where I stood.  I saw who was playin' who. 

The greatest success of the "Reagan Revolution" was the destruction of our manufacturing base and the erosion of the middle class.  Combine that with a beligerent foreign policy and the USA has become a Third World Empire.

(I call it the North American Bananna Republic. Or, Your Friendly NABR, if you will.  )

BTW, I consider BOTH Clinton and Obama moderate Republicans.

I don't particularly like Obama, but how do you know he forgot her name?

Could it possibly be that *GASP* he refused to say her name out of respect for her/her family??

Then why would he say it in the first place?

the story? idk, i'm not denying the fact he used her death as a prop (and maybe even an ego boost).

It just seems to me that you're quick to attack him for something you don't even know he did/didn't do (in this case remember this young ladies' name).

My bad. Anyway wake me when a president gets elected who doesn't believe in god at all.
