i was advised never to put a pic on your CV,

i agree with that really,whatever anyone says they will judge you by the picture,so i guess look smart and employable if you are going to include one,you know what bosses are like

If I got that resume, I'd take one look at the picture and say "they guy's too lazy to even take a decent picture for his resume? No thanks"

Why does a resume need a picture? I don't see anyone recommending you include a photo of yourself on a resume.

And, while I am on resume advice, I would recommend you DON'T list MAG Platoon Leader as work experience... unless you are applying for Kevin Butler's job:
