I beg the differ. On another thread that I've made, I bet you that halo 3 will out vote killzone 2 and remain so for as long as the thread stays up.

Uncharted 2 I suppose. I like the colors better for one. Another reason is I like the characters and story in Uncharted 2 more.

Ugh, enough with review scores. It really means nothing, you'd have to agree on GTAIV and SMG being superior to both.

I prefer the Gears franchise in most of the key aspects - the graphics (cartoony art style over realism), the gameplay (focus on shooting, 2 player co-op / split screen), music / mood (example). The story on both is okay, though not something I care about in games like this. The characters are probably about even as well (Marcus' character design is just awesome).

Drake is funny, though I prefer when the lead character I'm playing as is a badass. The only ones in Uncharted are Tenzin (he owns), and maybe the main villain.

Overall, I'd say Uncharted gives a better single player experience (campaign), while Gears delivers better on everything else (2p campaign, multiplayer). I tend to enjoy the latter more, so my pick is Gears.

So I guess we all can ignore the review scores for, lets say..........white knight chronicles?

I enjoyed Uncharted 2, but preferred Gears 2.

I played Gears first though and generally prefer straight shooters, to shooter/platformer hybrids.

You didn't get very far in the game then did you?  Or maybe you played on "easy" mode?

noone said drake was more badass, but hes a much better character, much more relatable and realistic and human

co-oped on the hardest difficulty for my friends achievement and he was getting pissed at me because I just kept running in so he had to get to me.

A single shot lowers the chainsaw but in hardcore mode you were able to run through the entire game and not get hit so you could chainsaw everyone?

How did you handle the boomers?  Or the Kantus?  The tickers??

Come'on dude, you didn't like the game, that is absolutely your opinion, and reasonable; you should try to make your insults to a game be SOMEWHAT believable though.

I would have to give the "Overall" title to Gears 2.

While I really do like both games, I think its a tie for Single player. But Gears 2's multiplayer is soooo much better.

In the end the complete package belongs to Gears 2.
