^ that'd work, PC looks better, and caps at a smooth 60 FPS (set to 62,) compared to the 360's 30 FPS cap. You don't need a powerful PC to max this game out, this is old tech for PC by now, my brother runs the game on a AMD64 x2 5000 with 2 gigs of DDR2 with a Radeon 4890 1gig maxed out settings at 1920x1200, the video card will do most of the work.

Will my PC be able to run it at max? I may just get a new chair early and get it for the PC. I am going to give hardcore PC gaming a try.

Yes, it will, this is not demanding tech for modern PCs, it's safe to say that it could have looked much better and still not tax mainstream PCs if they bothered, you can tell that they use a much lower quality texture work because of the same release date( same assets as the 360,) and that can't be offset even with 16x AF (still pixelated texture work all over, and a lot of lower res textures, which is meh,) which is kinda sad, but a solid game and runs better on PC. I'm also forcing Edge Detect AA in the game, so yeah, it's nice lol.

PS: there is no hardcore, there is just gaming =P

oh btw if you don't have bluetooth on your PC for the PS3 controller, just use the usb port with motionjoy, it's really nice since you can make windows think it's a 360 pad if you want it to as well.

Thanks for the tip, but the 360 controller works fine.I am not very picky for controllers. I prefer the PS3 controller, but the 360 one works. :] Also, sounds like  too much work lol. Now to beat Mass Effect 1 on my xbox.

Just letting you know your options, I use a 360 pad for my PC as well but I wanted to get the PS3 pad to work just for the hell of it and removed the stuff afterwards just because I can lol.

Yes, every DirectX 9+ game must support the 360 controller.

I think it's only Games for Windows games that must support the XBox360 controller.  Any game with the GFW label has to support it.  I don't think Mass Effect 2 has the GFW label.
