Getting my tax return on the 12th and am buying a 32" 1080p tv for my room, and.... a xbox.

Mass effect 1 was the original reason i was going to buy a xbox.

so ill be picking up

(may buy halo 1 to see if the series is as good as every one says and go from there)

those games you just listed are on PC, which you have listed as a platform that you own....

I played ME1 the other day and was surprised by how cool it was...so I bought it on PC.

l4d2 unless you have it for the pc crackdown should be good one and if you like strategy games definitely get halo wars

Lost Odyssey is a must buy if you like jrpg's, the new Banjo Kazooie is a lot of fun, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, Forza 3, and Star Ocean are also well received. Make sure you get Shadow Complex off of XBL, well worth the 15 bucks.

Bayonetta for 360 is great as well, although not exclusive.

Lost Odyssey is an incredible RPG and I think you should give this game a try.

You need to try these games:

• Viva Pinata   (Excellent "RTS" from Rare)
• Lost Odyssey   (Best JRPG this gen for me)
• Crackdown   (Addictive and fun, excellent vertical-sandbox game)
• Halo 3 + ODST  (Deepest multiplayer available on the market (cinema, sharing, FORGE, ranking, pro-league, etc)
• Blue Dragon   (I was skeptical at first, bought it because it was 9,99$... but I truly loved this game)  
• Forza Motorsport 3   (If you don't like simulation driving, forget that one) 
• Halo Wars   (if you like Stacraft, you'll love this game)
  

and of course, like you said:

Mass Effect 1 & 2 (the greatest games ever made). I have no words to describe this franchise... simply amazing.
